Fitness Ministry
“Your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God…” – 1 Corinthians 6:19
The FUPC Fitness Ministry assists the church body in rebuilding their temple so that it might be a fit place for God to dwell. We support, encourage and motivate each other. Whether your desire is to lose weight and/or incorporate more exercise into your daily routine, or just fellowship with other health conscious Christians, you can find that here at our exercise class.
Under the able leadership of Deacon William Malone, the Fitness Ministry seeks to improve the physical fitness of participants in three key areas: cardio-conditioning (endurance), strength, and flexibility. The Fitness Ministry is open to all comers, at no charge.
The goal of physical fitness is to empower participants to conduct activities of daily living in accordance with God’s Will.
SCHEDULE
Tuesday and Thursday – 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
Tuesday and Thursday – 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
Occasionally holidays and special church events, will mandate a cancellation of the fitness class. Please do not hesitate calling the office to check and make sure we are on a regular schedule.
